Provisioning in Roadtown BVI's

Riteway grocery store
This is the main Riteway store here.  It is near the Moorings base so fairly easy to find and to get to.  We simply parked our dinghy in the far corning of the Mooring/Sunsail base and walked a block or so up the road.  It's fully modern grocery store including deli, bakery and takeaway counter.  They even had roasted chickens.  While food and household standards are more expensive here in the BVI's (everything has to be shipped in), we didn't find things outrageous at this store.  Overall things were only slightly higher.  Of course some items were WAY higher in price like large containers of Greek yogurt.  In the USA we pay in the $5 range.  Here it the large container is $9.  Sadly that makes this cruising staple a thing of the past on s/v Honey Ryder for now.  While there weren't any "specials", the meat prices where not too bad.  We even score some sliced lunch meat (ham).  Bonus - as Salty Dawgs we have discount cards.  With backpacks fully loaded and a bag in each hand, we made our way back to the dinghy.
Some of our haul
*FYI - little markets on the various islands are limited and much higher in price.
**FYI - just behind this Riteway store is Clarence Thomas Hardware store.  It's a good hardware store.
***FYI -just on up the road from Clarence Thomas Hardware is Tico liquor store.
