We have now eaten here twice and it was very good both times. The first time Tom had the highly recommended meatloaf and was not disappointed. I had the Bahamian Chicken Curry which was delicious. This evening Tom had the blacken fish tostadas (with salmon) with black bean and rice and I had one of the specials, Callao - southern style with collard greens and 1/4 a chicken with rice. Our party of 6 enjoyed outside dining and the company of Indigo - the resident mascot, a black cat who patrolled the perimeter perfectly. If you ever find your way to Brunswick GA, St Simon or even Jekyll Island, we would strongly recommend you try Indigo Coastal Shanty for yourself. But be sure to check the hours. Currently they are only serving dinner on Fri and Sat nights. Lunch is Tues through Fri.
*Yes we are still cruisers on budget. Both times to Indigo we were guests of someone. Thank you very much by the way!
