The Roti Hut inside Powerboats boat yard in Chaguaramas sells some of the best rotis we've ever had anywhere! Hands down, yummy stuff!! They start serving at 11:30 but you better be there a touch before 11:30 because at exactly 11:30 AM every worker from every boat yard and boat industry service comes rolling in for their rotis and the line gets long
fast.

Your choices are roti - beef, or chicken, or boneless chicken (which NO self-respecting Trini would get), or veg and either goat or lamb (depending on the day)
OR a Buss Up - which is basically a de-constructed roti.

The favors are SO good. Just the right amount of curry. The veg has several curries layered together and then a mango chutney tossed in for added flavor. As with all Trini food, we are asked when ordering
"Peppa?" I generally go with
"slight peppa" while Tom goes with
"peppa".

The roti's are huge and messy. A sink off to the side helps with the clean up of your very messy roti or Buss Up hands.
